Accessible Health Services

World Class Healthcare for Queenslanders

Every Queenslander deserves healthcare that’s there when you need it.

To do that, we need to build more hospital beds, invest in services, boost the frontline and ensure health workers feel safe and supported in their jobs.

Queensland’s healthcare system needs investment. It needs more health services close to home and it needs the skilled workforce to deliver them.

What it doesn’t need are cuts.

The LNP Government have cut healthcare services and delayed hospital builds right across the state.

Health infrastructure isn’t optional, its vital. It’s what Queensland patients need, to reduce wait times in emergency departments, reduce ballooning specialist waitlists and to drag down ramping rates.

Queensland Labor will fight every day to ensure hospital beds are delivered to the communities that need them.

David Crisafulli said there would be no cuts to healthcare. He promised to reduce waitlists and ramping.

Instead, more Queenslanders are languishing on the waitlist for a specialist, paramedics are spending longer on the ramp and patients are suffering.

The LNP are taking Queensland Health backwards while sick and vulnerable Queenslanders hear lots of talk, but no action.
