Cheaper Fuel for Queenslanders

The cost of fuel is hitting Queenslanders hard and putting real pressure on household budgets.

At a federal level, the Albanese Labor Government is acting. They have made every litre of petrol and diesel cheaper, and introduced tough laws to crack down on price gouging.

But here in Queensland, David Crisafulli and the LNP are refusing to help Queenslanders who are being smacked at the bowser.

Our Cheaper Fuel Plan is before the Parliament right now.

RACQ modelling predicts our plan could save drivers up to 23 cents per litre. For a family filling up two cars with 50-litre tanks every week, that could mean savings of up to $1,200 a year.

That’s money that could go towards groceries, help cover mortgage payments or rent.

Instead of supporting our plan, the Premier and his LNP Government are standing in the way of those savings.
